How do I analyze a document?
Open the app and tap Import PDF or Document (PDF, Word, or text file) or Scan Paper Document to use your camera. v-Lawyer reads the document and returns a plain-English summary, the key facts, and every red flag — each tied to the exact clause it comes from.
What kinds of documents does it work on?
It's built for the everyday documents people sign: leases and rental agreements, employment and job-offer letters, service contracts, NDAs, notices, and terms. If you upload something that isn't a legal document, v-Lawyer will tell you instead of making something up.
What do the red-flag severities mean?
Flags are ranked high, medium, and worth noting, so you can see what actually matters first. Tap any flag to read the exact clause it comes from, what it means in plain English, and a concrete next step.
Accuracy & grounding
Does v-Lawyer make things up?
It's designed not to. Every red flag and every answer is grounded in your document's own text and quotes are verified against the document. When it can't locate exact text to support a point, it says so rather than guessing. That said, AI can still make mistakes or miss issues — verify anything you rely on.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
Yes. After an analysis you can ask questions in plain language — for example, “Can my landlord raise the rent?” Every answer quotes your document and shows the page it came from. Free includes a few questions; Premium makes follow-up questions on your documents unlimited.
Is this legal advice?
No. v-Lawyer explains what a document says — it is not a law firm and does not give legal advice, and using it creates no attorney-client relationship. For any decision that matters, consult a licensed attorney. See the Terms of Use.
Privacy
Where does my document go?
It's sent over HTTPS to our server and to Anthropic's Claude API to produce your analysis, then deleted from our server within 24 hours — kept only briefly so you can ask follow-up questions. It's never written to disk and never used for ads or training. The analysis itself is stored only on your device. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. We don't collect your name, email, or location.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings → Delete My Data in the app to remove all analyses and Q&A history from your device. Deleting the app does the same. There's nothing to delete on our side beyond the automatic 24-hour document window.

What's free vs Premium?
Free: your first full analysis — summary, key facts, and every red flag — plus a few follow-up questions, no account required. Premium: about 12 full analyses per month, unlimited follow-up questions on your documents, and full history & export.
How much is Premium, and is there a trial?
$9.99/month or $59.99/year (Save 50%). The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial — you're only charged at the end of the trial. Cancel anytime before it ends.
How do I restore my purchase or cancel?
To restore, open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. To cancel, open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, find v-Lawyer, and tap Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
